Nyali ODM nominations on parliamentary seat is taking a crucial and vigorous engagement either positively or negatively. other contesters are silent on it except Mohamed Ali Jicho pevu and Said Sirlem Saido. The controversy started when Jicho pevu supporters blew their own trumpet by exposing how they will get direct ODM nomination from Orange house through director of Elections at Orange house. Mohamed Hatimy who is the chair of ODM, believes that there is no single candidate who is special than the other. He is categorical clear that there is no single article in the constitution of the party that favours any individuals to get direct ticket without battling in free and fair nomination procedures.
It is in the public domain that Jicho Pevu aspirations has never been on the parameter of Joho's credentials. it is know that Jicho pevu was told by Raila to work closely with In case he wants to get ODM ticket, despite him being close to Raila. Jicho pevu was forced to work with Joho as a victim of circumstances but not in the gear of mutual relationship. This has resulted to silent shift of trust between Joho and Jicho pevu. it has brought a lot of disintegration among Joho's family on whether to support Jicho pevu or not. The fight has resulted to pure incitements among the electorates of who not to receive direct ODM nominations. recently some Luos from Nyali constituency paid a courtesy visits to Johoo in the protest against direct nominations.
Saidoo is a candidate who believes he has been in Mombasa ODM politics for long. He is among the top organs who have directly engaged in ODM affairs Mombasa county. He was shocked to know that he will be locked out of ODM politics simply because there is a new entry of a stranger in Nyali politics who want to be given direct nomination of ODM ticket in Nyali politics. This has resulted to much resistance from himself and his supporters, by demanding free and fair nominations.
what ODM supporters in Nyali politics are keen is not to have a repetition of what happened in the last general elections when Joho forced an ODM candidate by the name MCHARO who later lost to wiper candidate AWITI.
The questions many are asking, why is it that those many supporters of Joho are supporting Saidoo for Nyali race? Will Moha join Wiper?

JICHO PEVU TO LOOSE NYALI SEAT 2017
Nyali politics is considered as the most vigorous and spiral politics in Mombasa county. it has attracted large number of aspirants in consideration that it hosts a population of non indigenous people.
The exit of the incumbent MP Awiti Bolo has created a political space for any Tom, Dick and Hurry that would want to vie. It has attracted MP aspirants like county assembly speaker Thaduis Rajwayi, Said Sirlem (Saidoo), Mwenda Thuranira, Mohammed Ali(Jicho Pevu), Mark Ouma, Yassir Noor, Peter Adalla, Tony Lights and Mcharo and others.
The recent political rival among ODM candidates between Jicho pevu and Saidoo might just cereate a space for another strong candidate with different political party will benefit from the confusion between the unnecessary competition among Saidoo and jicho pevu. it is on the public domain that Joho's family support both Saidoo and Jicho pevu financially and politically but that has created division among the two camps. Team Saidoo believes that there will be No free and fair ODM nomination since they are aware that Jicho Pevu will get direct nomination from Orange House.
the wrangles between the two is only exposing their defeat in Nyali politics 2017 because ODM ticket has never been a guarantee to win parliamentary seat in Nyali. Nyali politics is purely dominated by cosmopolitan nature to which tribes from upcountry will always carry the day on who to support for Nyali seat 2017. Candidates with upcountry origin, have higher chances of winning Nyali seat, but it will depend on who has the best strategy.
Saidoo has a good political experience with Nyali politics and he stands a better chance of beating his rival Jicho pevu, but he may not win Nyali seat. Jicho Pevu had higher chance of winning Nyali seat, but people have started questioning his intention of contesting in Nyali constituency, unlike his first intention of contesting in Mvita. Despite his media skills in fighting human rights, people of Nyali still believe he cannot be a good politician, but he can do well in his media career. it is believed that Jicho Pevu can't name more than two village in a single ward within Nyali constituency. This is an indication that he is not well versed with the geography of Nyali.
Nyali politics will be won by any person who has upcountry background. Is it Rajwayi or Mark Ouma? time will tell.

WHO WILL WIN IN NYALI POLITCS 2017?
Thaddeus Rajwayi: he is one of the potential candidates who has a history of grassroots Bunge La mwananchi. He enjoys a lot of support from people who come from upcountry hence high chance of winning, since majority of voters have upcountry origin, luos recording the highest number of voter. He only need to start throwing his last bullets. The propaganda implicated on him about corruption didn't work well with the initiators as it was meant to bring him down but fortunately it worked on his side. Mohammed Ali jicho pevu has an advantage of enjoying Raila support but unfortunately 80% of Joho's supporters don't support him. He has a good track record in media industry, if well utilized he has a chance. He needs to have a good strategy of ground breaking, which I believe he can. Let him not relax knowingly that he might secure ODM ticket, which might be opposite on the ballot results, putting in mind it happened to John Mcharo. Many Nyalians view him as an outsider but this narrative might change. Mark Ouma Mkenya is young and energetic, but unfortunately he hasn't marshaled his ground well. May be because of limited resources, but he has an advantage of using his age to convince Youths and women to vote for him. He can surprise many who didn't expect he can perform wonders.Yassir Noor was a threat to last general elections, but for now he seems to relax so much taking advantage that he is not new in politics. His job as a director in KCC has created disintegration among his supporters to which they thought he had an upper hand in securing jobs for them, unfortunately he is just a mere director who depends on only allowances as remunerations which can't influence something more to his supporters. This has gradually lowered his chance, but he has a room for improvement. Adalla is not popular, but seems to ride on the back of Awiti instead of focusing on ground work. Crispus Waithaka is a new force who believes he will Marshall GEMA votes as the Chairman. If the narrative goes as per the expectations, he stands high chances of winning Nyali seat hence a nightmare to Yassir Noor. Said Abdalla Saido is another energy to win Nyali politics because of good finance Marshall. he has linked well with grssroot supporters of Joho due to his political experience in team Joho campaign team. unfortunately many have regarded him as a native of governor Joho to which they either elect Joho as a governor or him as the area MP due to family conflict of interest. He either choose to be the MP then Joho looses votes for governorship and vice versa. rumours has that he has secured FORD KENYA ticket in fear that MOHA JICHO PEVU has an upper hand of securing ODM ticket.

FOR JOHO TO BECOME RAILA'S RUNNING MATE IS LIKE TRYING TO MILK A LIONESS.
Picking Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho as your running mate will be disastrous for Cord leader Raila Odinga, Aden Duale has said.
He said Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula stand a better chance to give Jubilee leaders a run for their money, because they have the numbers and influence on the voters.
“You are leaving Kalonzo with more than 1.5 million votes and Weta [Wetang'ula] with the Luhya massive following for Joho? You will fall and break your skull my friend,” the National Assembly Majority leader and Garissa Township MP said.
He said either of them should be Raila’s deputy.
Duale said it will be a big misstep for Raila to choose a deputy "who hardly commands more than 1.5 million votes".
"Politics is about numbers, the one with the most carry the day, if the voting process is fair," he said..
Duale thinks Raila is doing a minus calculation to consider the youthful Joho as part of his winning team.
On Sunday in Mombasa, he said he predicts a straight win for Jubilee, because the opposition is making blunders day by day.
Duale was reacting to remarks that Joho should deputised Raila.
During ODM “10 at 10” celebrations in Kisumu, Governor Jack Ranguma, MP John Mbadi (Suba), Senator Anyang’ Nyong’o (Kisumu) and woman representative Aisha Jumwa (Kilifi) said Joho fits the bill

THE BIG BRAIN OF SARAI IN WIPER THAT MAKE JOHO TO WORRY 24/7
THE TONONOKA DECLARATION
The Making of A Constitutional Democratic Republic
We the People of Kenya, gathered here at the Tononoka grounds in Mombasa on this Second day of October, 2016 and cognisant of Article 1 of the Constitution of Kenya which vests sovereign power in the people and in the exercise of our constitutional right to Assembly and Association enshrined in the Bill of Rights and in further fulfillment of Article 91 and 92 of the Constitution, associating ourselves and articulating our aspirations through the Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya aver as follows:
1. THE MAKING OF A CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
Kenya has evolved through its various episodes of history and generations. The Independence generation fought for our freedom and dignity. The generation of Young Turks fought for political pluralism and a new constitutional order. In our final liberation, the Wiper Democratic Movement will nurture the Constitutional Generation which will be the critical foundation of our Democratic Republic.
Through political programmes and actions and cognisant of Articles 54, 55 and 56 of the Constitution and all provisions that provide for a Gender-inclusive government and/or State, including but not limited to Articles 81 (b) read with Article 27 of the Constitution together with provisions of Article 1 and 10 and Chapter 6 of the Constitution, the Wiper Democratic Movement will guarantee that the Constitution in its letter and spirit is the foundation of our New Republic.
2. THE STATE OF OUR POLITICS
The Wiper Democratic Movement is concerned at the extent to which politics has in the recent past been monetised in an alarming way! The situation is further complicated by ethnicisation, corruption and an acute lack of integrity in our politics. This is making it increasingly difficult for hitherto marginalised constituencies including the minority communities, women, youth and persons living with disabilities to meaningfully participate in the nation’s politics life.
The Wiper Democratic Movement commits itself to providing the political ‘greenhouse’ which guarantees effective, equal and meaningful political participation and competition for all. Through our programmes and actions, the Wiper Democratic Movement will put in place frameworks and guidelines that aide the political participation and competition of minority communities, women, youth and persons living with disabilities. These frameworks and guidelines will eradicate all obstacles that impede meaningful and effective political participation of the marginalised constituencies.
In particular, the Wiper Democratic Movement will upon its election form a 50-50 government with respect to gender to lay the foundation to comply with all demands of the Constitution on gender inclusivity.
3. THE STATE OF THE NATION
The Wiper Democratic Movement notes that Kenya continues to be one of the most unequal societies in the world. This is an assault to the conscience of the nation and a betrayal of the promise of liberty. A nation can never be free when the overwhelming majority of its countrymen languish in the shackles of abject poverty.
The situation is further compounded by fleecing greed and corruption; nepotism, negative ethnicity, hatred and division; indignation of our people; and disregard and lack of respect for our constitutional order. Today, a child born of poverty stands little or no chance in life and nothing is being done to expand opportunities for ‘fair play’ by an increasingly ruthless, reckless and selfish oligarch of nyama eaters.
The Wiper Democratic Movement stands for a just, equitable and democratic order. The Movement is committed to the ideals of Democratic Socialism that seeks to reverse the cycle of inequality. The Wiper Democratic Movement therefore establishes the Vanguard Committee to oversee the overall adherence of the Movement, its structures, its members, elected leaders and aspirants to the Social Democratic faith.
In building a clean government that fundamentally alters the character and nature of our politics, the Wiper Democratic Movement will bar candidates who fail the test of integrity from seeking elective position to deter the cycle of procrastination of the promise of genuine transformation.
4. THE STATE OF THE COALITION
The Wiper Democratic Movement believes that the state of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) is strong.
The Wiper Democratic Movement is unequivocal that our Movement Leader, H.E. HON. STEPHEN KALONZO MUSYOKA is the movement’s choice for President of the Republic of Kenya and the best placed candidate to secure victory in the 2017 general elections and lead the nation through the path of transformation.
The Wiper Democratic Movement will therefore hold its National Delegates Conference in the next six weeks to formally endorse the candidature of H.E. Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. In keeping in line with the democratic values of our party, any other member is invited to seek the Movement’s endorsement.
In pursuing Coalition’s preparedness for the 2017 general elections, the Wiper Democratic Movement is resolute the Coalition’s flag-bearer must be named on or before Christmas Day, the Twenty Fifth of December, Two Thousand and Sixteen (25th December, 2016)
